Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at Level AA, and to meet our obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Accessibility is assessed as part of every release rather than audited once and forgotten.
What we have done
Colour and contrast
This site uses a high-brightness palette, which is exactly where contrast failures happen. So every combination is measured rather than eyeballed:
- Body text is deep forest green on cream at a contrast ratio of about 13.9:1, well above the 4.5:1 minimum.
- We never set body text in the accent green. The bright green is used for rules, ticks and highlights only, never to carry words.
- Primary buttons are white on deep green at about 8.9:1, above the 7:1 AAA threshold.
- The yellow sleepwear notice uses dark brown text at about 10.4:1 on the yellow.
- No information is conveyed by colour alone. Every coloured state also has text, an icon, or both.
Keyboard and focus
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard.
- Focus is always visible, as a three-pixel outline with an offset. It is never removed.
- A skip link to the main content is the first focusable element on every page.
- Tab order follows reading order.
Structure and assistive technology
- One h1 per page, with headings nested in order and never chosen for their size.
- Landmarks for header, navigation, main and footer.
- Every image has alternative text describing what it shows. Decorative rules and tick marks are hidden from assistive technology.
- Form fields have real labels, and errors are announced and tied to their field.
- Tables have captions and header cells with proper scope.
Motion and layout
- Animation is decorative and brief. It is switched off entirely when your system asks for reduced motion.
- Nothing autoplays with sound. The one video is muted, looping and decorative.
- The layout reflows to a single column on narrow screens without loss of content.
- Text can be resized to 200% without content being lost or clipped.
Safety information
The safety facts on this site are the part that must not fail for anyone, so they get extra treatment:
- The four safety facts are always stated in words. Drawcord state, small-parts state and flammability standard are never communicated by icon alone. Icons sit alongside the text, not instead of it.
- The yellow sleepwear notice carries a semantic note role, an accessible label, a warning icon and the full text. It is legible in greyscale, readable by a screen reader, and does not depend on distinguishing yellow.
- The height scale on each product card is decorative and hidden from assistive technology. The same information appears as text: “Fits 110–152 cm standing height”.
- On narrow screens the scale is retained, not dropped, so the visual argument survives on a phone.
Known limitations
Being honest about what is not perfect:
- The height scale is a visual device. It communicates fit range at a glance for sighted users. Non-visual users get the same information as text, but not the same at-a-glance comparison between two products.
- Product photography is flat-lay only. Alternative text describes the garment and its features, but a photograph carries detail that no description fully replaces. Call us and we will describe any garment in as much detail as you want.
- The size chart is a wide table. It scrolls horizontally on a narrow screen. We are working on a better narrow-screen presentation that keeps the header association intact.

Other ways to order
You can order entirely by phone. Call +1 818 170 3082 during business hours and we will take the order, read out the safety information for anything in it, confirm sizes against a height measurement, and email you a written confirmation. There is no surcharge and no difference in price.
