No neck or hood cord on any children’s garment we make. Where a waist cord exists it is under 7.5 cm with both ends stitched down. The field in our product data has no option for a neck cord.

Age labels are the reason so much children’s clothing goes straight back in the box. We size everything by standing height in centimetres, and we publish the drawcord state, the small-parts state, the flammability standard and the tracking label location before we show you the price.

What every product page tells you
Four facts, printed before the price.
These are federal requirements for children’s clothing sold in the United States. Most shops keep them on a label in the parcel. We put them at the top of the page, because a drawcord you find out about after delivery is not much use to anyone.
Small parts
Nothing sized for a child under three contains a detachable small part. Buttons, snaps and zip pulls are pull-tested, and a minimum age is stated in words on every page.
Flammability
Every garment is made to 16 CFR 1610. Sleepwear takes the tight-fitting route through 16 CFR 1615/1616 and carries the yellow tag. We do not sell loose non-flame-resistant sleepwear.
Tracking label
Every piece carries a permanent label with the batch number, and we tell you exactly where it is sewn. Quote the batch and we can tell you which test report covers your garment.
Measured, not guessed
Flat body length, chest, sleeve and inside leg in centimetres for every size, with a ±1 cm tolerance. Age appears in brackets only, because two four-year-olds can be 12 cm apart.

Every card carries its own scale.
The strip down the left of each card is the full 50–152 cm range. The filled part is where that garment sits.
Sleepwear
Close-fitting on purpose. We say so on the tag.
Children’s sleepwear has to be either flame resistant or cut close to the body. We take the second route on every sleep piece we make, which means no flame-retardant treatment and a fit that leaves no loose fabric to catch. That choice comes with an obligation to be blunt about it.
Wear snug-fitting. Not flame resistant.
Buy the size that matches your child’s height. Do not size up to get another season out of it: a loose fit takes the garment outside the standard it is built on. We do not sell loose non-flame-resistant sleepwear at all.
